November Update

Before we even took down our Halloween decorations on November 1st, I wanted to get our Thankful tree put up.  WIthin minutes that it was put up, it was already full.  The kids definitely enjoy this in the beginning and then it kind of peters off by the end of the month!

THe kids piled on dad one evening!  They sure love him!  But the feeling is mutual!

My mom was taking the kids overnight and I had a doctors appointment Friday evening in SF, we decided that we would just stay up there overnight for our date!

Connor found this nice but quirky hotel right across from Grace Cathedral!

We could see the church from our window!

We walked to breakfast in the morning and we had to hike one of the steep hills.  Pictures do not do this justice.

On Veterans day the kids and I walked to the park.  Such beautiful fall colors everywhere!

It was also my mom’s birthday so the older girls took her out for a pedicure and then everyone else met up later for dinner.

I just now realized while adding these pictures that he got at least one picture of everyone!  And even one of himself!  Cute kid!

One evening we all went and saw Big Hero 6.  Kinsley is getting better but she still doesn’t last all the way through movies yet.

My foot in November.

It’s not looking great but it is feeling a little bit better.  I have to be careful with how much I do and I’m not sure it will ever look normal again but I’ll take less pain over looks any day!

Connor was putting up Christmas lights while the boys were at school.  Kinsley played in the leaves!

The kids wrote their letters to Santa and then dropped them off in the Santa mailbox.

The day before Thanksgiving we went to the Academy of Science in SF.  It was not crowded at all so it was perfect!

Thanksgiving Day!!

The kids watched the parade while I started the turkey and Connor played football with some friends.  I didn’t say anything to Connor but I was a little worried he would get hurt while playing.  Sure enough he came home with some cracked ribs.  There really isn’t a treatment for it so he just has to deal with the pain.
