September Randoms

Some fun things we have done in September so far!

Biking:

Corbin’s papa taught him how to ride a bike with no training wheels while Connor and I were in Cabo and so we have been trying to keep it up.  And since my foot has been feeling better, I have actually been able to ride a bike too.  So we try to go on Saturday mornings to the school or park.

One morning when my mom had the kids, just Connor and I rode our bikes.  It was for 7 miles which doesn’t seem like a lot to some but considering I could barely even walk just a few months ago, I thought this was impressive!

Minature Golfing:

For Labor Day FHE we went miniture golfing.  We left before the last few holes.  I think that kids could have made it the whole time but it was actually a really hot evening and we got behind a family that was taking a while at each hole.  But they all did pretty great!  And I may have beat Connor!

Silly kids:

Just kids being kids stepping on books!

Classes:

I signed the kids up for classes through the comminity.  Kinsley is in dance and the boys are in Karate.  Kinsley absolutely LOVES dance.  She talks about it all the time and will tell strangers all about it.  She has to go in the class without me and she does great.  She follows along so well for a just barely 2 year old.

Not the greatest video since it’s through a window.

The boys like karate okay.  They complain about going but then seem to enjoy it when they are there, so who knows if this is something that will stick.

Coloring:

Kinsley and Cason have been really into coloring lately.  They both can spend a while doing it.  Especially Cason makes incredibly detailed pictures.

Walking home from school:

Sometimes Cason complains about walking to get Corbin every day from school. But sometimes they melt my heart.

Kinsley and Mommy time:

When the boys are both in school, Kinsley and I just get to hang out.  Before Kinsley was born, Cason and I would go get hot chocolate and banana bread at Starbucks when Corbin was at school so I thought I’d try that with Kinsley.  She looked so cute holding on to the kids cup walking around like she was a big person.

She didn’t like the banana bread too much and doing this did make me miss Cason A LOT! So we might have to pick a new thing!

Halloween:

The kids have been wanting to put up the decorations for Halloween already.  I tried to hold them off until at least mid-September.  But we start celebrating early around here.

Rain:

Last week it drizzled for a quick minute and outside our bedroom window was a bright rainbow.  Cason LOVES rainbows so we had fun watching it stay for quite a while.

Then another day we woke up to rain.  A lot more rain than we have gotten for a while!  Oh how badly we need it.

So, of course that meant we needed some hot chocolate.

Apple picking:

We decided to do some apple picking so we could really get into the fall spirit.  We hadn’t gone since Kinsley was born and I think everyone really enjoyed it.  The kids liked trying to find the biggest and smallest apples.  I love this cute family of mine!
